Ranitea was our lovely surprise of 2024. Like a little coconut carried by the tide, she washed up on the shores of Moana Voyages quite by chance - at first, we must admit. Initially brought on temporarily during the peak season to prepare your welcome kits, she officially joined the planning team in January (for good, this time). It's hard to say who missed whom the most, let's just say the feeling was mutual.... What matters is that she came back to the office - along with her radiant smile and her handmade macramé bags. And even then, we can’t bring ourselves to envy her, she brightens our days too much with her cheerfulness. No, Ranitea doesn’t know what gloomy weather is. With her around, it’s sunny every day.

No, this isn't a watercolor painting – it's very much Te Moana Tahiti. Tested and approved, this hotel checks all the boxes: spacious, thoughtfully designed rooms, unbeatable value for money, and above all, a prime spot to watch the sunset, with a passionfruit mojito in hand during happy hour... Located in Punaauia, it offers easy access to activity providers and gives you the perfect excuse to try a different "roulotte" each evening – the best way to dive into 100% local street food culture!
The full-day lagoon tour with Destination Lagon — because, this time, you are the one in the postcard! Swim in Taha'a’s dreamy blue waters or stay dry on a pristine beach — tough choice, right? Let’s hope you're into snorkeling and surprise visits from curious little fish, because if not… well, at least there’s the beachside picnic to make up for it. But this isn’t just another boat tour — it’s a deep dive into Polynesian culture, and probably one of those memories you’ll be talking about long after the trip is over.
In Polynesia, the sun sure doesn’t mess around. Whether you're out on a lagoon cruise in a canoe, hiking beneath the palm trees, or just soaking up the vibes on a white-sand beach, it’s always there — watching. And sunburns? They won’t give you a heads-up! The pro tip? Always keep a tube of aloe vera close by. Soothing, hydrating, and 100% natural, it's the go-to fix for overheated skin and helps keep that golden glow going strong. We might don't work in cosmetology but we sure know about sunburn...🌞🌿
Long before the classic jeans and T-shirt combo, there was a time when it was better to have a century-old tree nearby and some strength in your wrist to dress decently... Yes, tapa is a fascinating ancient art. If you'd like to learn how to make your own plant-based fabric from banyan bark, you can start here. We tried it for you !
"Nothing to improve on, our trip was perfect!! All of the staff and employees were very nice and helpful. All of our transfers were easy. There was always someone waiting for us with our name on a board that was easily identified. We were notified immediately upon arrival at the airport that our transfer was late due to an accident on the highway. Just CANNOT find anything to report that we did not like."
