The Indian Summer According To Naïs

The Indian Summer According To Naïs...

And for this October issue, here we start with the radiant Naïs, who smells of lavender and tapenade. Fearless globe-trotter, she joined our team in 2018 and embarked on an epic road trip across Australia right in the middle of the covid pandemic… Proud mama of a little Manoa since last year, it appears that she settled down in Tahiti once and for all this time. When she is not busy answering your e-mails sitting cross-legged at her desk, she loves to go for a scooter ride in Moorea when it’s cloudy or to sip a cocktail at the Te Moana Tahiti Resort during sunset.

Bungalow

A concentrate of Polynesia, freshly brewed in the vitamin C and sprinkled with authenticity. To me, this itinerary encompasses all the islands you must absolutely visit for a first stay. Not too casual, not too elaborate, this selection gives you a glimpse of the local way of life and guarantees an optimal comfort. And this succulent Society nectar is even more appreciable with a little Tikehau extra, to get off the beaten track.

Your soft Spot

The ambition of a resort mixed with our legendary hospitality.
With four stars on the clock, Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts enjoys an astounding setting and a good repute. Far from being the impersonal gigantic complex you may have in mind, the hotel can pride itself on having succeeded in emphasizing the Polynesian culture, namely through its decoration and excursions.

The Activity you recommend

whale

If you happen to come to our islands between July and November, you must book a whale watching excursion. It’s not even an option…
Every year, the cetaceans indulge themselves with a charming cruise in the Pacific ocean, which gives us the opportunity to watch them in their natural habitat. If you pay attention to the singing of the males, perhaps will you get closer and have a swim by their side.

Your travel Tip

Do you consider yourself an epicurean? Because I’m afraid, this advice is solely intended for those who wish to make the most of every day.
If you ever go to Moorea, stop by the Lézard jaune Café and order some raw fish. Yes, it is the typical Polynesian dish and you can give it a try almost everywhere you go but there… the slight touch of honey in the coconut milk and grated ginger make all the difference. Now that you know our secret spot, chances of a tuna shortage are high but that’s a price we are willing to pay...

A blog article to read at the boarding area

Perhaps it is because she has danced for years or since she used to work in performing arts but our article about the heiva caught Naïs’ attention.
Right after Christmas, it is probably the most eagerly-awaited moment of the year, a very festive period you should definitely attend. From the creation of the choreographies to the staging, including the singing and the costume designs, these few lines will give you glimpse of the backstages.

« We traveled June of 2021 through Tahiti to Moorea and Bora Bora. We are extremely pleased with our experience with Moana Voyages. We will definitely use them again and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Naïs did a great job of putting together our trip and making suggestions. We were super impressed that at every transition from plane to island and transfer to transfer someone was there with our name on a plaque ready to guide us to the next step. We never had to wonder what or where. I usually do all of the planning and booking so this was our first time to turn it all over to someone else. Worked out great. Thanks for a great trip! We'll be back."

Mariés

It may seem paradoxical but, even though we really like to conceive your itineraries, what we love the most is receiving your perfect vacation pictures on a Monday morning, as we are comfortably seated behind our desk… It is the outcome of your project and, most of the time, a dream coming true. And sometimes, we contribute to special occasions, just like here during the wedding of Sarah & Christophe at the Conrad Bora Bora Nui.
