We're kicking off the new year with Magalie, her mischievous smile and gentle way of life. A keen hiker, aqua-biker and handywoman in her spare time, she's a real "Aito"! You'll never see her without her water bottle! Having always worked in the tourist industry, she did a little tour of France before settling in Tahiti. In 2018, she quit her job as a field guide to focus on organizing your trips and since 2022 she is supervising the commercial team with Sandrine. Magalie is the ray of sunshine of Moana Voyages.

The Hiva Oa Hanakee Lodge has surprisingly managed to retain all its authenticity, while offering all the comforts of a hotel. An excellent pied-à-terre, it's the ideal haven to recharge your batteries after a hectic day. And how can you get enough of the breathtaking view of the bay from the pool? The owner, Jean-Jacques, is always very considerate with travelers and his faithful steed is often busy grazing on grass on the side of the hill.

Renting an e-bike in Huahine is probably best way to discover the Isle of Women, it's eco-friendly and you can take your time ! Enjoy a unique moment, observing the island's distinctive mountainous terrain, strolling by the marae and soaking up the mana they exude.Afterwards, if you need to quench your thirst, you should definitely stop by the distillery.
Your travel tip
Before you set foot in our islands, prepare yourself and arrive with an open mind. If you're not used to greeting a stranger in the street, here you can forget Google maps and ask a stranger for directions! A "Ia Ora Na" is the best way to start a conversation...
