Breaking with tradition, Caroline chose the Little Polynesian in Rarotonga (which she had the chance to visit during a work trip). While some hotels have a slightly outdated charm, this one feels fresh and holiday-ready! Just a stone’s throw from the town centre and Muri Night Market, it’s easy to get to, and, if you’re travelling as a couple, it turns out to be adults-only. A charming mix of Polynesian and Anglo-Saxon cultures, the Cook Islands deserve a spot on your itinerary—don’t leave without trying the Party Bus!
